OPPO has announced the global launch of its Find X9 series, positioning the new smartphones, particularly the Pro model, to set a new benchmark for mobile photography with an advanced Hasselblad-developed camera system.
The Find X9 series integrates the latest Hasselblad Master Camera System, powered by OPPO’s proprietary LUMO Image Engine. This computational photography engine aims to enhance image processing.
The premium Find X9 Pro model features a 200-megapixel Hasselblad telephoto camera. This component was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, encompassing sensor calibration and optical design.
The partnership claims to deliver unprecedented detail and sharpness in zoomed images. Pete Lau, SVP & Chief Product Officer at OPPO, stated the brand is taking a “monumental step in terms of image quality.”
Beyond still photography, the Find X9 series offers advanced video capabilities. It supports recording at up to 4K 120 frames per second in Dolby Vision, designed for smooth, detailed cinematic footage.
For professional users, the series introduces LOG format recording with ACES support. Optimized features like Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus further enhance the ability to capture sharp visuals and audio, even at a distance.
The new smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, an advanced 3nm platform. The Find X9 series is among the first to incorporate this new chipset.
Battery life is also a key feature, utilizing OPPO’s third-generation silicon-carbon battery technology. The Find X9 model houses a 7025 mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro features a larger 7500 mAh capacity. The Pro model is designed to offer up to two days of autonomy with average use.
The series comes with the new ColorOS 16 operating system. This system promises enhanced fluidity, intelligence, and connectivity, utilizing features like Seamless Animation and the Luminous Rendering Engine.
OPPO’s AI capabilities are integrated to improve user experience with intuitive functions such as AI Portrait Glow. Expanded connectivity allows users to easily connect to PCs, Macs, and other accessories.
Both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro feature a next-generation design emphasizing elegance and ergonomic comfort. The Find X9 is available in Space Black, and the Find X9 Pro comes in Titanium Grey.
All models feature a matte glass finish and a matte aluminum frame, designed to improve both aesthetics and grip. They also boast two flat screens with slim 1.15 mm bezels. The Find X9 has a compact 6.59-inch screen, while the Find X9 Pro offers a larger, 6.78-inch immersive display.
The global debut of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models is scheduled for October 28 in Barcelona.
