OPPO has introduced its new Find X9 and Find X9 Pro flagship smartphones, emphasizing significant advancements in artificial intelligence, a formidable camera system featuring a 200-megapixel zoom, and extended commitments to software and battery longevity.
Both devices are powered by MediaTek’s recently unveiled Dimensity 9500 chipset. This 3-nanometer processor, launched in late September 2025, promises substantial performance gains across its octa-core CPU, GPU, and Neural Processing Unit (NPU), which handles AI operations. The NPU boasts a 111% speed increase compared to its predecessor, alongside notable power efficiency improvements.
The Find X9 Pro features a comprehensive camera array co-engineered with Hasselblad. Its standout component is a 200-megapixel zoom camera, equipped with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, advanced pixel-level adjustment, and Prism Hybrid Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The main 50-megapixel camera uses a larger Sony LYT-828 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and OIS. A 50-megapixel ultrawide lens completes the setup.
All Pro model cameras support Dolby Vision 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, with the zoom lens capable of 4K at 120 frames per second. An optional Hasselblad-developed accessory extends the optical zoom to 10x and digital zoom to 200x.
OPPO is also highlighting extended device lifespan through software and battery longevity pledges. The phones will run ColorOS 16, based on Android, and receive five years of software updates and six years of security patches.
The company claims the batteries will retain at least 80% of their original capacity after five years of use. This claim supports the focus on long-term device value.
AI integration is central to the user experience. The Find X9 series leverages Google’s Gemini AI model and includes OPPO’s own AI features, such as pixel-level photo processing, noise reduction, and AI Portrait Glow. The devices also support connectivity with Apple Watch.
The Find X9 Pro comes with a substantial 7,500 mAh battery, a significant increase from its predecessor, supporting 90W wired fast charging. The standard Find X9 has a 7,025 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. Both models offer 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Both smartphones feature OLED displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. They incorporate an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, an upgrade from previous models. The Find X9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch screen, while the standard Find X9 has a 6.59-inch display.
Durability is a key focus, with both models carrying robust IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. These protect against high-pressure water jets, submersion in fresh water, and high-temperature, high-pressure water, respectively.
In China, the OPPO Find X9 starts at 4,400 Chinese Yuan (approximately $607) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, going up to 5,800 Chinese Yuan (approximately $801) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant. The Find X9 Pro begins at 5,300 Chinese Yuan (approximately $732) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, reaching 6,700 Chinese Yuan (approximately $925) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
