When a new phone series drops, it often brings a mix of the expected and the surprising. OPPO’s F31 lineup is just that. The company recently rolled out three new smartphones: the F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. These phones aim to deliver top-tier toughness and lasting power, all wrapped up in an affordable package.
What really stands out is how robust these devices are. OPPO calls their build the “360° Armour Body.” They also pack large cooling vents to keep things running smoothly. Each phone carries impressive durability ratings. They are fully protected from dust and can handle water jets from any direction with an IP66 rating. Stepping up, the IP68 rating means they can sit in fresh water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. For even tougher situations, IP69 means they can resist high-pressure, hot water jets up to 80 degrees Celsius. Plus, they passed military-grade MIL-STD-810H tests, ready for extreme temperatures, sand, humidity, or heavy vibrations.

Despite their ruggedness, these phones maintain a slim profile. The standard F31 measures 8.0 mm thick and weighs 185 grams. The F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ are even sleeker. The Pro model is 7.96 mm thin and weighs 190 grams, while the Pro+ comes in at 7.7 mm and 195 grams.
The screens on these devices are also impressive. The F31 and F31 Pro both sport a 6.57-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. They offer a super smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and can reach 1,400 Nits of brightness. If you crave something a bit more premium, the F31 Pro+ steps up with a larger 6.8-inch OLED display. It still offers Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, but it boosts peak brightness to 1,600 Nits.

Under the hood, all three F31 models run on ColorOS 15, which is built on Android 15. Each phone gets a different mid-range chipset to power its operations.
- The OPPO F31 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6nm chip clocked at 2.40 GHz.
- The F31 Pro upgrades to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy, a 4nm chip at 2.50 GHz.
- For the F31 Pro+, you’ll find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, a 4nm chip running at 2.63 GHz.

Battery life should be fantastic across the board, thanks to a massive 7,000 mAh battery in every model. These batteries also support blazing-fast 80W charging. For security, an in-display fingerprint sensor is standard. Audio lovers will appreciate the stereo speakers with Hi-Res sound. Connectivity is modern, with Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6. When it comes to photos, a 50-megapixel main camera is present on all three. Selfie cameras vary; the F31 has a 16-megapixel front camera, while the F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ feature sharper 32-megapixel selfie shooters.
The F31 series isn’t just about hardware. These phones bring some clever software tricks to the table. They can record 4K video underwater, which is a neat party trick. For serious mobile gamers, a bypass charging feature ensures peak performance without stressing the battery. AI plays a big role too, with tools that turn speech into text, an AI Assistant for taking notes, and an AI feature to summarize important content. These additions make the F31 line feel more capable than its price tag might suggest.

The OPPO F31 Pro and F31 Pro+ will hit stores first, launching on September 19, 2025. The F31 will follow shortly after, available from September 27, 2025. You can find these phones on major online shopping sites like Amazon India, Flipkart, and OPPO’s own online store.
