OPPO has announced the signing of a global patent cross-licensing agreement with Nokia covering standards-essential patents in 5G and other mobile communications technologies.
This agreement not only marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between both companies, but also sets out the basis for the resolution of pending disputes in various jurisdictions. The specific contractual conditions will be treated as strictly confidential by mutual agreement.
This means that Oppo, based in Guangdong (China), can sell its entire range of telephones again Germanywhich fined the Chinese company in 2022 for violating Nokia's intellectual property rights.
