It hasn’t been a month since Oppo launched its smartphone from the entry-level A16 range. Now the A16 is official, first introduced in the Netherlands, arriving with a major upgrade for many: NFC.
In essence, the Oppo A16s is the same smartphone as the base model. So we have a 6.52 ”inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate and a drop-shaped notch for the 8MP front camera.
At the rear, users can expect three cameras. The main one is a 13MP sensor, and it comes with a 2MP macro lens and a depth sensor with the same 2MP.
MediaTek Helio G35 is Oppo A16s processor
The operations of this smartphone are controlled by the MediaTek Helio G35 processor and are supported by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Users can even expand storage up to an additional 256GB.
The smartphone has a 5000 mAh battery and can use two 4G LTE compatible SIM cards. NFC is its most notable improvement, with the fingerprint sensor on the side. It arrives from the factory with Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
Oppo A16s price and availability
The smartphone is available in black and blue, for a price of € 149 in Oppo Official Website. For now, there is no indication when it will be formally launched in Portugal.
