OnePlus has just introduced its new mid-range smartphone. is named OnePlus Nord CE 2 5Gand it is a more modest version compared to the Nord 2 5G presented in July of last year.
To begin with, let’s talk about what doesn’t change. The new Nord CE 2 5G maintains the 6.43-inch AMOLED screen. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, and maintains a 4,500mAh battery with a 65W fast charge.

Where things start to slow down on the Nord CE 2 5G is in the processor. Instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 1200, this device comes with the Dimensity 900. It supports 5G and is accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The smartphone has a 64MP main camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens. The front camera is 32 MP and is housed in a punch hole in the upper left corner. It’s in the design of the cameras that we find a lot of inspiration from Oppo, reminiscent of the X3 Pro.
This Nord CE 2 5G is 7.8mm thick, which is smaller than the Nord 2 5G. But unlike this terminal, here the brand has chosen to put an input for a 3.5 mm jack and for memory cards.
The smartphone comes with OxygenOS 11.3 out of the box, based on Android 12. Users will be able to choose to buy it in gray or blue. The presale begins in Portugal on March 3 and the price starts at €369. The smartphone starts reaching the first buyers on March 10.
