The OnePlus 11 will be the Android flagship of the Chinese brand by 2023, although its presentation should take place in the coming weeks. One of the rumors attached to this model would be an improvement in its overall build quality.
This improvement would be possible thanks to the use of ceramic as the predominant material in the next OnePlus 11. However, the desired evolution will not be confirmed, at least according to Max Jambor.
OnePlus 11 will continue to be built in glass and metal
EITHER filter with a good track record of assertiveness in OnePlus designs, he says the OnePlus 11 won’t have a ceramic body. A testimony that thus contradicts what Digital Chat Station has advanced in recent weeks.
Strictly speaking, Max Jambor only affirms that ceramic will not be part of the OnePlus 11. Thus, we assume that it refers to the majority of versions that this top of the range will bring to the market next year.
This means that OnePlus must maintain the formula of recent years for the construction of its top of the range. This will be made up of a layer of glass on both sides of the smartphone and a structure made of metal.
Going back to the Digital Chat Station predictions, we cannot rule out the possibility that you may have seen a special version of the OnePlus 11 in ceramic. It would not be unreasonable for the Chinese company to launch a more expensive version with this construction material.
If the build materials don’t change, there won’t be a major design overhaul of the OnePlus 11 either. In general, this smartphone will be identical to its predecessor, with the exception of its camera module.

According to renders shared, the OnePlus 11 photo sensors will be housed in a round module, contrasting with the square of the OnePlus 10 Pro. A slight change that will help refresh the appearance of the new model.
As for specifications, the OnePlus 11 will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and up to 12 GB of RAM. Its internal storage will amount to 256 GB UFS 4.0.
We will also have a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the photographic section we expect a set of 50 MP + 48 MP + 32 MP.
Its battery will be 5000 mAh, benefiting from fast charging at 100 W. Data that will only be confirmed when the smartphone is presented, scheduled for the end of this year or the beginning of 2023.
