The OnePlus 10 Pro was presented on January 11 in China. Unlike other years, global fans of the brand will have to wait a little longer for the teams to arrive globally. Something that should happen between March and April.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has just received an update that promises to improve the autonomy of the smartphone. Basically, this appeals to users who want to use the always-on display feature, for basic functions like seeing the time.
OnePlus 10 now supports 1Hz refresh rate on always-on display
In case you didn’t know, the OnePlus 10 Pro has an LTPO 2.0 panel. This means that it is one of the few smartphones on the market that can lower its refresh rate to 1Hz to save battery life.
With the latest firmware update A.09, OnePlus takes further advantage of this functionality in the smartphone. This is because it now supports 1Hz refresh rate during always-on display.

This means that users no longer have to worry about autonomy when using the always-on screen. Also because when you have a refresh rate of 1 Hz, you will spend as little battery as possible.
Please note that this feature will only be available on some wallpapers that are always on. But it will be a matter of time before OnePlus extends this possibility to other wallpapers.
This is a feature that we already expect to see implemented natively when the OnePlus 10 Pro launches globally. The brand has already started promoting it on social networks, but has not yet revealed a specific date for the team’s presentation.
