OnePlus has officially revealed the OnePlus 10Pro in China, which is the successor to last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro.
The OnePlus 10 Pro offers a refreshed design, with a metal camera module that blends into the frame, in the style of the Samsung Galaxy S21 family.
The phone retains the characteristic switch to mute the phone and the frosted back glass panel of its predecessors. As for size and weight, It measures 163 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 200.5 g.
On the front, the device has 6.7″ LTPO AMOLED display with support for variable refresh rate (from 1 to 120 Hz).
This curved panel has a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels (QHD+), 525 PPI, a punch hole in the upper left corner and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Other specs include a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, contrast of 5,000,000: 1, aspect ratio of 20.1: 9, screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The phone includes a chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It is the first smartphone with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 which brings features like HyperBoost (for gaming) and more.
The OnePlus 10 Pro houses a triple camera setup on the back It consists of a 48MP Sony IMX789 wide-angle camera with OIS, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 150° ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x magnification with OIS.
For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor on the front. All these cameras are tuned by Hasselblad with features like Hasselblad Natural Color Optimization 2.0, XPan Mode and more.
Other smartphone features are 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), x-axis linear vibration engine, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Finally, the device has a 5000mAh battery It supports 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless fast charging. It also supports reverse wireless charging.
OnePlus 10 Pro pricing and availability
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be sold at the following prices in China in black or green:
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥4,699 (€648)
- 8GB + 256GB – 4 yen, 0.99 (€690)
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥5,299 (€731)
It will go on sale in China on January 13th. OnePlus has yet to reveal the global release date for the OnePlus 10 Pro.
