One dead and 21 injured in shootings at the Super Bowl parade in the USA

A One person died and 21 were injured by filming this Wednesday during the Super Bowl victory parade of Chiefs teamin the American city Kansas Cityso police and fire brigade.

Local Police Chief Stacey Graves confirmed the death of one person and noted that between 10 and 15 were injured in the shooting near Union Station, just meters from where the Chiefs celebrated their triumph with fans .

According to police, “two armed individuals” were arrested following the incident. Authorities said three of the injured were in critical condition and five were in serious condition.

The injured were treated on site by rescue workers.

Fans tried to flee as police worked to clear Union Station, a chaotic end to a joyful Chiefs victory parade.

The mayor of this city in the US state of Missouri, Quinton Lucas, was one of those present who had to take cover.

“The first reaction is absolute anger. This is a day that many people have been waiting for for a long time. Something they will remember for the rest of their lives.
