Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ opened in theaters on August 11. However, this Akshay movie also cannot show anything special at the box office like the last two movies ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. On the second Friday, a very bad condition of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was seen. On the other hand, southern actor Nikhil Siddharth’s film ‘Karthikeya 2’ seemed much more advanced than Raksha Bandhan. According to Taran Adarsh, this movie made a collection of 2.46 crores in Hindi language. It’s worth noting that a lot of ‘Karthikeya 2’ craze is being seen in theaters these days. If we talk about the budget of both movies, Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan was prepared at a cost of around Rs 70 crore while the budget of Kartikeya 2 is only Rs 30 crore.
Significantly, along with ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was also released on August 11. This film also looks battered at the box office. On the second Friday, Aamir’s film had a gross of just Rs 1.25 crore. The budget of this film is around 180 million rupees.
However, in this way, South Star Nikhil Siddharth’s ‘Karthikeya 2’ surpassed these two Bollywood movies on the second Friday.
