Oil production: Saudi Arabia surprised the world

According to the Joint Data Initiative (JUD), Saudi Arabia’s oil exports increased during April 2022. For the first time in two years, the country exported 7.382 million barrels of oil per day.

According to Saudi media, the kingdom increased its oil exports by 2% in April. In March, 7.235 million barrels of oil were being exported daily.

Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest oil exporter, peaked in April.

The country extracted 10.441 million barrels of oil per day in April, compared to 10.300 million barrels per day in March.

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman said last month that Saudi Arabia was going to increase its oil production capacity on a daily basis.

Production capacity will be increased to more than one million barrels per day. By the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027, more than 13 million barrels of oil will be extracted on a daily basis.
