Unveiled at the end of October in China, Xiaomi’s most successful new line of smartphones was slow to reach global markets. But now the presentation date of the Redmi Note 11 has been officially revealed.
In a publication made on the social network Twitter, Xiaomi reveals that the Redmi Note 11 will be presented worldwide on the day 26 of January. The presentation is scheduled for 12 noon in Lisbon that day.
“This year, our Redmi Note 11 series is ready to meet the challenge. Please join us to witness the release of this legend.” This is accompanied by an image of the side frame of the new smartphones.
It is recalled that the Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 11 arrived with a flat frame, similar to that of the iPhone 13. And judging by this image, the design will remain in the global versions of smartphones.
4 new Redmi Note 11 are expected
The brand has not yet revealed how many smartphones will be presented. But according to the latest leaks, there could be at least four models. In addition to the most basic Redmi Note 11 4G and Redmi Note 11S, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are also expected.
It remains to be seen if, like the Chinese versions, Xiaomi will opt for MediaTek processors in these global versions. Information leaks suggest that, at least the Pro versions, arrive with Qualcomm processors.
Another great unknown is the price of these smartphones. This is something that we will only know for sure on January 26, but Xiaomi is expected to be able to raise the bar compared to previous generations.
