OFFICIAL: Samir Nasri announces his retirement

Samir nasri has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 34 and 16 seasons with European elite teams. The French midfielder was without a team after leaving Belgium’s Juniper League Anderlecht. Olympique de Marseille, Arsenal, Manchester City, Sevilla, Antalyaspor and Anderlecht. A very broad talent, but with a very bad head and quite irregular in the most important moments.

The Frenchman, who stood out for his individual quality and versatility (he played as a midfielder, attacking midfielder, interior, winger on both sides and even as a false offensive reference), could not find a new team after his short spell in Belgium. Samir Nasri ends his professional career with 522 games played, 73 goals scored and 93 assists. He won the Premier League twice with Manchester City and was voted Footballer of the Year in 2010.
