Official: Rudy, until 2024

It’s official. The Real Madrid player, Rudy Fernández, has reached an agreement with the club to wear the white shirt until 2024. This has been announced by the entity in a statement on its website, confirming the extension of the contract of the Spanish basketball legend until June 30 of next year. In this way, in addition, Rudy maintains his intention to reach the Olympic Games in Paris, which would be his sixth participation in this tournament, something that would place him as the leader of the national team in this section.

Rudy has a spectacular basketball career. In his 12 seasons defending our shirt, he has won 23 titles: 3 European Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 6 Leagues, 5 Copas del Rey and 8 Spanish Super Cups. In addition, with our team he has been chosen twice in the Euroleague ideal five (2012-13 and 2013-2014), twice in the league ideal five (2012-2013 and 2013-2014) and has achieved 1 MVP of the Spanish Super Cup (2012), 1 MVP of the Copa del Rey (2015) and 1 MVP of the League final (2017-2018).
