Official: Okafor signs for Casademont

Jahlil Okafor, number three in the 2015 NBA draft, is the brand new signing of Casademont Zaragoza. After six seasons in the best league in the world and 247 games behind him in some of the most important franchises in the competition, the North American center with a Nigerian passport makes the leap to Europe signing for one season.

Okafor, 27 years old and 2.08 meters tall, is a center with great physical power and a wide repertoire of fundamentals in the low postwho was chosen in 2015 in third position by the Philadelphia 76ers, falling behind Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell and beating Porzingis (4), Hezonja (5), Devin Booker (13) and Willy Hernangómez (35). Since then, the new center from Casademont Zaragoza has gone through the Brooklyn Nets, New Orleans Pelicans and Detroit Pistons. And in his first year in the NBA he was included in the best five rookies.

After a brief stint in China, last season he dominated the NBA G-League in the Captains of Mexico City, signing some spectacular records: 20.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists for 24.4 valuation credits.
