OFFICIAL: Fernando Llorente signs for Eibar

Fernando llorente returns to Spain at 36 to enlist in the ranks of the SD Eibar until the end of this season. The Rioja forward arrives as a free agent at the armory team after ending his contract with Udinese Calcio last July, the player has undergone a comprehensive medical examination this morning and has finally been presented as one of the greats bombings of the Second division of Spanish football.

The Basques have announced on social networks that they have reached an agreement with Llorente until next summer. After leaving Athletic, in the summer of 2013, the world champion made a career for big clubs such as; Juventus, Sevilla, Swansea City, Tottenham, Naples and Udinese Calcio. The veteran forward will be 37 years old next February, but it seems that he feels strong enough to continue scoring goals, now he will do so with the Eibar Barça shirt.

He wanted a quiet place where they would let him play

After his bad experience at Naples, Fernando llorente wanted to find a team willing to give him minutes on the pitch, SD Eibar has offered him this possibility due to the large number of injuries they have on their squad. The gunsmiths needed a new striker and the Rioja arrives to provide the goals they need to fight to rise again to the first division of Spanish football.
