Obtaining visas for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims is now even easier

Riyadh: The Saudi government has decided to provide digital fingerprint facility to Umrah pilgrims and pilgrims on smartphones, which will make it easier to obtain visas.

According to details, the Saudi government has taken steps to further facilitate the process of Umrah and Hajj visas and decided to provide digital fingerprint facility to the pilgrims on their smartphones.

A digital fingerprint system has been inaugurated, making it easier for Umrah pilgrims to obtain visas.

Fingerprint and iScan data can be uploaded from a smartphone.

It may be recalled that last month the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had increased the number of Umrah pilgrims in Masjid-ul-Haram on a daily basis to one lakh while the number of worshipers in Haram-e-Makki was also increased to 60,000.

Instructions were given to ensure implementation of security measures and SOPs in Masjid-ul-Haram, while Saudi citizens and foreigners will have to take Tawaklana during Umrah and prayers through the app as before.

The ministry said that it has completed preparations in advance for the increase in the number of visitors. There is room for additional tracks and mats in the mataf
