Obradovic, at the First University Clinic

The Fuenlabrada Basketball Foundation and the Rey Juan Carlos University have announced the first Zeljko Obradovic University Clinic which will feature the prestigious Serbian coach as the head of a complete line-up of speakers. The Clínic Universitario will be held on July 14, 15 and 16 in Fuenlabrada and registration is now open.

The first speaker will be Zeljko Obradovic, the most successful European coach and closely linked to the city of Fuenlabrada through the experiences shared with Partizán in Belgrade. Together with Obradovic, he will participate in the opening day Antonio Martín, president of the Association of Basketball Clubs (ACB). The program also includes names as prominent as those of Jota Cuspinera, Luis Casimiro, Sergio Lorenzo Jiménez, Miguel Á. Gomez, Ruben Portes, Enrique Alonso, and Fernando Bermejo.

Attendees will enjoy a program of talks aimed at basketball coaches, sports technicians, university students and all those people who want to advance their training around sport and the management of human groups. In addition, the Rey Juan Carlos University will grant the corresponding ECTS credits to the students who take advantage of this University Clinic as will be recognized with the appropriate diploma.

For those interested, the price is only 50 euros, with a 20% discount for coaches with a record in the Madrid Basketball Federation and for students of the Rey Juan Carlos University. Registration is open until the number of available places is completed or until July 14, and can be done in two ways:

  • In person at the Baloncesto Fuenlabrada offices in the Fernando Martín pavilion, located on Calle Travesía de los Notarios, next to the Fuenlabrada Central Renfe and MetroSur station.
  • By payment to the account number ES63 2100 8661 0702 0006 0491 (SWIFT: CAIXESBBXXX), of the Fuenlabrada Basketball Foundation.
