Nuno Espírito Santo Eyes Wolves Keeper José Sá for West Ham Reunion

West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo is reportedly pursuing Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper José Sá for a January transfer, aiming to bolster his squad and offer Sá a chance for more playing time.

Espírito Santo, who previously coached Sá at FC Porto, is looking for a new goalkeeper to provide competition for current starter Alphonse Areola.

Sá, who has spent five seasons at Wolves, has recently lost his starting spot at the club. He is reportedly open to reuniting with his former coach.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are understood to be receptive to Sá’s departure. The club views a transfer as beneficial for the player, citing his sustained professionalism.

A move would also provide Wolves with crucial transfer funds. These funds would be used to strengthen their own squad during the upcoming January transfer window.
