At this year’s Mobile World Congress, Nubia introduced the first 3D tablet, which is the result of the partnership between the brand and Leia.
Starting today, anyone interested can pre-book the model that arrives in Europe on April 11 for a price of 1,299 euros.
Nubia Pad 3D: specifications
The new Nubia Pad 3D was unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress. Now is the time to hit store shelves, which will happen next April 11. Until then, users can start making reservations on the brand’s website.
This is the first 3D tablet that may revive a segment that has been experiencing a sharp decline in global sales.
The tablet includes Leia’s 3D Lightfield technology and a proprietary DLB coating that allows the user to have a three-dimensional experience. The two 8-megapixel front cameras can exactly follow the movement of the head to offer an immersive 3D effect.
The Nubia Pad 3D comes equipped with a 12.5-inch IPS LCD screen that provides a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Better yet: Nubia’s new tablet is also capable of converting “normal” content into three-dimensional material. In turn, the Leia App Store is already packed with 3D games and more than 1,200 3D apps to enjoy on the innovative device.
The model houses the Snapdragon 888 processor inside, which, despite being older, can handle this situation with a 3D effect, without the need to use special glasses.
It even runs the Android 13 operating system and is powered by a 9,700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will be available in variants with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
