WhatsApp is adding new features lately, especially those that some of its competitors already have for some time. Today it’s time to edit the messages.
Finally, WhatsApp allows you to edit sent messages. All you have to do is long press on the message you want to change and select Edit from the menu. This only works for the first 15 minutes after sending a message, Keep this in mind.
After editing a sent message, “Edited” will appear next to it when others view it. However, the edit history will not be displayed.
Of course, all messages will still be end-to-end encrypted. This new feature is already rolling out to WhatsApp users around the world, and the rollout should be completed “in the coming weeks”.
