November 26th Mumbai terror attack marks 15th anniversary, Sehwag pays tribute to martyrs

One of the biggest terrorist attacks in the history of India was the Mumbai terrorist attack on November 26, 2008. This terrorist attack is known as 26.11. known. This terrorist attack killed 160 people and injured more than 200 people. After around 60 hours of terror spread by ten terrorists, they were finally brought under control by Indian soldiers. This painful attack in the history of Mumbai and India was remembered by Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and IPL franchise team Mumbai Indians via Twitter.

A post was written on the official Twitter account of both to commemorate the attack in Mumbai. In its post, the Mumbai Indians team shared the picture of the three historic places of Mumbai – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal, Mumbai Central Railway Station, Taj Hotel and Oberoi Hotel – which were attacked by terrorists. Additionally, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag wrote a post on Twitter commemorating the Mumbai attacks. In his post he wrote: “15 years ago today we were shocked by one of the most terrible terrorist attacks. One of Mother India’s greatest sons, the brave martyr Tukaram Omble, did an exemplary job in capturing Kasab alive. “He showed courage and selflessness.” We will always be indebted to him. We are proud of such a great man.”

Let us tell you that on November 26, 2008, ten terrorists came to Mumbai by boat by sea. He first went to Mumbai’s largest railway station, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal, and suddenly started firing indiscriminately. Before those present could understand anything, his life was lost. After that, all these terrorists started roaming the streets of Mumbai with guns in hand and killing anyone they saw in front of them. They captured Mumbai’s proud Taj Hotel, shot hundreds of people there and also attacked the Oberoi Hotel. Mumbai Police and Indian soldiers jointly controlled the terrorists and martyr Havildar Tukaram Omble of Mumbai Police captured terrorist Kasab alive after taking several bullets in the body and was hanged after many years.
