Nothing Phone (3) Leaks Reveal Unique Design and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

Nothing, the company known for its bold tech designs, is about to unveil its next big thing. We’re talking about the Phone (3), set to launch on July 1, 2025. Before this official reveal, insiders shared many details about the phone’s specs and design. Now, we have a much clearer picture.

Official renders of the Phone (3) just dropped, courtesy of Android Headlines. These images give us a clear look at the phone’s design. It comes in both white and a dark gray, almost black, finish. Get ready for some strong opinions on this one.

The front of the Phone (3) looks pretty standard. It has thin borders around the screen and a small punch-hole for the selfie camera. But flip it over, and Nothing’s design philosophy really shines. The back is where things get wild. It’s totally different from their older phones. Prepare for a lot of internet chatter about these design choices.

The biggest talker will be the camera layout. The Phone (3) packs three cameras on its back. One lens sits way up in the top left corner, almost touching the edge. This placement is super unusual compared to other phones today.

Nothing has already confirmed this top lens is a 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera. Rumors suggest the other two cameras, placed below it, are a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Nothing phone without the Glyph Interface. This time, it’s a round LED light system in the top right corner of the back.

The renders also show the Phone (3) has a metal body. You’ll find the volume buttons on the left edge. The power button is on the right, alongside a mysterious extra button. This extra button might be the “Essential Key” we saw on the Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro models released in March 2025.

Beyond the looks, the Phone (3) promises serious power. It’s rumored to have a 6.7-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The selfie camera is expected to be a sharp 50-megapixel shooter. A big 5,150 mAh battery should keep it running all day. And it will reportedly support super-fast 100-watt charging.

Nothing also confirmed the Phone (3) will use the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. Qualcomm just launched this premium chip in April 2025. It’s built on 4-nanometer tech and can hit speeds up to 3.21 GHz. Owners can also expect long-term support. Nothing promises five years of software upgrades and seven years of security updates.
