Noisy-le-Sec: shot in the head for paying for drugs with fake bills

The deception cost him dearly. For having paid for cocaine with counterfeit bills, a man was shot dead in the head on August 17 in Noisy-le-Sec (Seine-Saint-Denis). Wanted, the alleged murderer surrendered to the police a few days ago.

On the day of the murder, residents heard several gunshots in rue de la Chasse. The police then found two cars side by side, with, in one of them, the victim and his passenger. In a state of shock, the latter finally managed to explain to the officers that the second vehicle had come up to them and that a man there had opened fire on them, on several occasions.

Seriously injured in the head, the driver was rushed to hospital, but could not be rescued. It was the passenger’s brother-in-law, whose interrogation by investigators revealed that it was a cocaine transaction that had gone wrong. The victim tried to pay the traffickers with these fake 50 euro banknotes, bought on the Internet, reports News17.

34,000 euros in counterfeit banknotes

The dealers realized this and caught up with the two men for revenge. In the buyers’ vehicle, 800 grams of cocaine and a pistol were found. In that of the traffickers, abandoned on the spot, nearly 34,000 euros in counterfeit banknotes.

Wanted by the police, the alleged perpetrator of the shots recently went to a police station. He was indicted and put behind bars. The victim’s brother-in-law is also indicted, but left free under judicial supervision.
