Slalom Season Reaches Midpoint
The slalom season has reached its midpoint, and the competition is heating up. Following the recent events in Madonna di Campiglio and Adelboden, the rankings have been shuffled, and new leaders have emerged.
The morning session in Adelboden saw the Swiss Loic Meillard take the lead, but it was the French skier Clement Noel who ultimately claimed the top spot, followed by Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro in second place and Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen in third.
Current Rankings
As the season reaches its midpoint, Henrik Kristoffersen holds the red bib with 375 points, followed by Christmas at 35 points and Loic Meillard at 50. In the overall rankings, Marco Odermatt leads with 630 points, followed by Kristoffersen at 56 and Meillard at 236.
The competition will continue tomorrow with the Giant Slalom event, where Odermatt will be looking to defend his title as the local favorite and winner of the last three events in Adelboden.
