Willy sealed a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds in his team’s victory (97-111) for the Pelicans against the Spurs. Trey Murphy was the best of the game and dominated with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists, while Zion Williamson scored 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. In the Spurs, the most outstanding was Doug McDermott with 14 points.

The Lakers, without LeBron James, won the first game of their preseason this Sunday, after three consecutive losses, by beating the Warriors, on a day in which the Spanish Willy Hernangómez achieved a double-double in the victory of the Pelicans . Without James or Russell Westbrook, it was Anthony Davis who led the Lakers with 28 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 21 minutes on the court., in the victory over the Warriors, current champions. Kendrick Nunn also shone, with 21 points, and Matt Ryan, with 20 points and an excellent performance in triples (6 of 9). In the Warriors the best were Jordan Poole, with 25 points, and Steph Curry, with 24 points, although he only hit 2 of 8 in triples. Neither Klay Thompson nor Draymond Green, who took time off after punching his teammate Poole in recent practice, did not play.
