Russian President Vladimir Putin says the military operation in Ukraine will continue as planned. We do not need a deadline.

According to a report by a foreign news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the end of his visit to Ashgabat that Russia’s military operation in Ukraine will continue as planned and we do not need a deadline to end it.

The Russian president said the special military operation was aimed at liberating Donbass, defending the people living there and creating conditions that would guarantee Russia’s own security.

“Our troops are advancing and reaching the endpoints assigned to them at a particular stage of the war,” he said.

Asked about a possible deadline to end the operation, the Russian president said there was no need to talk about a deadline.

Putin said it was not right to link the military operation in Ukraine to any deadline.
