The Nithari killings occurred in Nithari village, Noida, a city near Delhi, between 2005 and 2006. Police investigations led to the recovery of 19 children’s skeletons.
The documentary promises to reveal new information surrounding the case. It includes previously unseen footage, unedited police diaries, and confession tapes.
The series aims to tell the stories of investigators, reporters, forensic experts, and the affected families. These families have lived with unanswered questions for nearly two decades.
Director Deepak Chaturvedi stated his team conducted years of meticulous research. They accessed previously unavailable materials and spoke with those impacted by the tragic events.
The docuseries is a co-production between Warner Bros. Discovery and Trinetra.
