Nissan MICRA Goes 100% Electric with Up to 410km Range

The all-new Nissan Micra is here, and it’s going electric. This sixth-generation model sticks to its roots while adapting to the energy needs of today. Designed at Nissan’s European Design Center in London, the new Micra boasts a refreshed exterior look that’s both premium and SUV-like.

A Fresh Take on a Classic

With its simple, organized surfaces and subtle details, the Micra’s design is both elegant and understated. The car will come with 18-inch wheels in three different options, depending on the trim level. You’ll have 14 exterior color combinations to choose from, including Pure White, Elegant Silver, and Rebel Red. Two-tone color options will also be available, allowing you to pair the body color with a black or gray roof.

What’s Inside

The Micra’s interior features a three-spoke steering wheel and a high-resolution 10.1-inch display behind it. There’s also a 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center of the dashboard, providing access to navigation, audio, and phone functions. With services from Google integrated into the NissanConnect system, you’ll have a truly connected experience on the road. The car will also support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety First

The new Micra comes with a range of safety features, including Nissan’s ProPilot assist system, which offers lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking. Additional features include:

  • Autonomous emergency braking
  • Emergency lane-keeping assistance
  • Lane departure warning
  • Blind-spot warning
  • Rear cross-traffic alert

Electric Power

The Micra will be available with two battery options: 40 kWh and 52 kWh. The 40 kWh battery delivers 308 km of range, while the 52 kWh battery provides up to 410 km. The car can charge from 15-80% in just 30 minutes using a 100 kW DC charger. A heat pump is standard on both battery options, allowing for efficient heating and cooling of the battery.

V2L Technology

The new Micra will also come with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, which allows you to use the car’s battery to power external devices like speakers, air pumps, or even vacuum cleaners.

Nissan’s European Plan

The new Micra is set to arrive in the market by the end of 2025, marking a significant step in Nissan’s product offensive in Europe. The company plans to introduce four new all-electric models by 2027, including the new Micra, Leaf, Juke, and a model in the A-segment. The third generation of Nissan’s exclusive e-Power technology will also be launched in the Qashqai, the company’s best-selling model.
