Nine Barça Atlètic Players’ Contracts Terminated by Club, Implications Examined

Barcelona’s Reserve Team Closes Promising Season

Barcelona’s reserve team, Barcelona Atlètic, has concluded a season filled with promise, narrowly missing promotion to LaLiga Hypermotion. The team will maintain its category for the upcoming season, with Rafa Marquez, who has renewed with the Barcelona reserve team, leading the team once again.

Nine players from Barça B will be leaving the team after their contracts expire on June 30th. These players include Pau Víctor, Moha, Pelayo, Marc Vidal, Naim, Cuéllar, Iker Goujon, Josep Cerdà, and Saïdou Bah.

Loans Return to Their Clubs

Some players arrived on loan from other clubs. Paul Victor from Girona had a successful campaign and was the team’s top scorer with 20 goals. Moha and Marc Vidal, provided by FC Andorra, were two of the team’s captains and starters. Cuellar returns to CD Lugo, while Naim arrived in the winter market on loan from Leganes.

Those Who Terminate Contracts

Those players who belong to Barcelona and whose contracts are ending are especially appreciated for their contributions. Pelayo Fernandez, who has played for the club for five seasons, has ended his time as a culé. Iker Goujon, who suffered from injuries throughout the season, will no longer continue wearing Barça. Josep Cerdà and Saidou Bah, who were loaned to Ponferradina and CD Badajoz, respectively, will return to their parent club, with their contracts ending with Barça.
