The power forward of Barça Nikola Mirotic was chosen this Monday by the Euroleague as the best player in the competition in the month of december, thanks to an average of 21 points (with 63% of success in shots of two, 50% in triples and 94% in free throws), 6.5 rebounds and 25.3 valuation credits.
During the month of December, Barça defeated Anadolu Efes (93-95), Real Madrid (93-80), Red Star (69-76), Panathinaikos (82-85) and Unics Kazan (111-109), while they were defeated by Bitci Baskonia in the last game of the year 2021 (94-75).
Especially noteworthy was Mirotic’s performance in the win against Real Madrid, when the Barça franchise player equaled with 31 points his best scoring figure in the Euroleague and surpassed his record valuation staff in the competition with 39 credits.

The Spanish-Montenegrin achieved this recognition for the second time so far this season, after being designated as the best player in the month of October with records of 16.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 20.6 valuation credits.
Mirotic has been chosen the best player of the month of the Euroleague in seven times throughout his career, achieving it with Real Madrid in December 2011 and October 2013, and with Barça in December 2019, February 2020, March 2021, October 2021 and December 2021.
