Nicole Kidman Channels Old Hollywood Glamour on Runway Amid Divorce

Nicole Kidman presented a poised appearance at Vogue World: Hollywood, making a striking fashion statement amidst her ongoing divorce from Keith Urban. The 58-year-old actress evoked classic glamour during the event on Sunday, October 26. The show took place at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

Kidman channeled iconic film star Rita Hayworth from the 1946 movie Gilda. She wore a black satin bustier dress by Chanel, designed by Matthieu Blazy, featuring floral details. The ensemble drew inspiration from a black dress Hayworth wore in a musical number in Gilda.

Her look was completed with glamorous red lipstick, smoky eyes, and long blonde hair styled in loose waves. The Oscar winner graced the runway to the tune of "Put the Blame on Mame," a song famously performed by Hayworth as Gilda in the film.

Following the event, Kidman shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos on social media. One clip showed her posing for pictures with legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour in her Chanel gown. Another snapshot captured her with Wintour and director Baz Luhrmann, known for directing Moulin Rouge!

Kidman posted a message thanking Wintour, Luhrmann, and Blazy. She wrote, “Celebrating cinema and fashion at Vogue World: Hollywood ❤️ Thank you to Anna, Baz, Matthieu and the entire Vogue World team!”

The Vogue World: Hollywood event celebrated both cinema and fashion. Model Kendall Jenner also paid homage to Kidman, wearing one of the actress’s dresses from the hit musical Moulin Rouge! on the runway. The 29-year-old Jenner appeared in a black and white crystal-adorned corset dress with a small black hat.

Kidman’s public appearance follows her divorce filing from estranged husband Keith Urban. Us Weekly confirmed on September 30 that the actress filed for divorce from Urban, also 58, after 19 years of marriage. She cited "irreconcilable differences" in court documents.

Kidman is seeking to be the primary residential parent for their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. She had previously attended Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2026 womenswear show in Paris with her daughters just days after filing the divorce papers.

A source told Us that the couple "had been quietly separated for a while." The source added, "This was not Nicole’s decision, and she is devastated. Her trust was lost, and it was irreparable."

"Nicole and Keith were not on the same page," the source continued. "The rumors in town were that they were living separately, were focused on their own projects, and that Keith had moved on. They are going in different directions, and their worlds no longer intersect as much as before."
