Pop star Nick Jonas recently shared a surprising personal rule that’s sparked a huge debate online. The 32-year-old Jonas Brothers member firmly believes that beds are only for sleeping. He revealed this unusual stance during an appearance on the social media series “Are You Okay?”
“I don’t sit in bed,” he told host Bri Morales. “I don’t eat in bed. I don’t read a book in bed or watch TV. I just can’t do it.” Morales seemed surprised, telling him he was missing out on a great joy in life. Jonas explained his reasoning: “I just don’t like it getting warm. I get hot, it’s a whole thing.”
His confession seemed odd, but then came the real shocker. Morales asked if he even had a TV in his bedroom. “Yes,” Jonas replied. “My wife [Priyanka Chopra Jonas] watches it. I pull up a chair next to the bed.” Morales exclaimed, “That’s crazy!”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas hasn’t spoken publicly about her husband’s strict bed rules. But she did share a sweet, contrasting detail in a July interview with People magazine. She revealed a mandatory weekly tradition she shares with their 3-year-old daughter. “Cuddle in bed on Sunday mornings,” she told the publication. “It has to happen. It’s mandatory.”
