With this 18-ball half-century, Pooran has added another historic record to his name. He is now the batsman with the most half-centuries scored in 20 or fewer balls in IPL history. As for the fastest half-century in IPL history, that record is still held by India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 50 runs in just 13 balls against KKR in 2023.
