Free Fire’s biggest emulator tournament circuit, the NFA, just got a whole lot more exciting. Sponsored by Pichau, the NFA is shaking things up with a new competitive format. From now on, all competitions will have an open phase, giving more teams a shot at the spotlight.
Imagine having a chance to compete against the best, without needing an invite. That’s exactly what’s happening. The number of invited teams is being reduced, and those who do get an invite will skip straight to the advanced stages. Everyone else will have to earn their spot through the new competitive system.
What’s changing?
The NFA is all about making the competition more accessible and sustainable. This year, they’re introducing a more open format, which means new players can join in. They’ve also announced the creation of the FF Emulator World Cup, with expansions into Asia and Latin America through NFA Asia and Latam.

The NFA will be sharing more details about the new format on their social media channels soon. But for now, Bernardo Assad, one of the owners, has a message for aspiring competitors: “Pay attention, build your team, now it’s all about the gameplay.”
Stay tuned for more updates
The NFA’s new format is set to open doors for new players and teams. With the reduced number of invited teams, the competition is about to get a whole lot fiercer. Stay tuned for more updates, and get ready to assemble your team and show off your skills.
