Neymar went from party to party after qualifying for Qatar 2022

The Brazilian star Neymar was involved in a growing controversy after it emerged that, after securing the qualification for the World Cup in Qatar and before the classic against Argentina, he participated in several private parties just before not traveling to San Juan due to an alleged injury.

The scandal became known this Friday, when the newspaper Extra, part of the O’Globo chain, revealed that Neymar had a “marathon” of parties between Thursday and Sunday, just before coach Tité revealed that he was not going to travel to Argentina.

“Neymar embezzes the National Team after marathon parties in São Paulo,” the newspaper headlined, detailing the members of the different parties in which the PSG France player and Lionel Messi’s partner participated.

The Brazilian coaching staff gave the squad two days off after the victory over Colombia, which allowed them to secure qualification for the next World Cup, and from there it was when problems broke out.

Always according to the newspaper ExtraNeymar was in São Paulo and on Friday, for example, he gave a party at his mansion in Alphaville “with a concert by DJ Pedro Sampaio.” Those who participated had to leave their private phones, as usual, to prevent photos and videos of the situation from being leaked.

The information adds that in the different events in which Neymar would have participated there were other footballers such as, for example, Vinicius, who was in San Juan. Officially, according to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), Neymar’s loss was due to a “muscle discomfort” in the adductor muscle.

“The forward did not even travel with the delegation to the city of San Juan, where the match corresponding to the South American Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup will be played,” the statement explained. From that point on, Neymar, instead of traveling towards Argentina, he made his way to Paris, in order to begin his recovery as part of his club, PSG.
