Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 32-year-old actor known for White Lotus, offered unwavering support at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, New York, on Wednesday, October 15. He was there to celebrate his wife, 28-year-old Abby Champion, as she made her debut on the runway.
Schwarzenegger sported an all-black leather outfit, drawing comparisons to the iconic Grease style. He was seated alongside Dylan Sprouse, whose wife, Barbara Palvin, also walked in the show.
Before the event, Schwarzenegger visited Champion backstage to pose for photographs. During the show, a video captured him recording his wife as she graced the catwalk.
Champion appeared in black angel wings, complementing a fuchsia, translucent lingerie dress. She spoke with Entertainment Tonight backstage about her husband’s presence.
"He’s going to be cheering me on," Champion told the outlet. "I’m going to look for him. He finds the husband."
She also shared that she gave him specific instructions for filming her debut. "I already told him, ‘Videos, you know what you’re doing, right? Let’s focus.’ We need the video, don’t mess it up. He knows."
The model expressed her joy as a newlywed. "It’s so fun," she explained. "I love being married. I had the most fun wedding ever. I’m so happy to have a sweet and fun husband."
Schwarzenegger and Champion were married on September 6 at the Gozzer Ranch Country Club in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. Champion wore a wedding gown designed by Danielle Frankel.
Champion told Vogue that the design and choice of designer were "incredibly important" to her. She wanted to collaborate with someone she felt completely comfortable with.
The couple reflected on their nuptials with Vogue a week after the ceremony. "I still can’t believe it’s over already; it all flew by like a dream," Champion shared. "I’m so excited to start this new chapter with Patrick."
Their relationship began in 2015 after Schwarzenegger asked for her number. They felt an immediate connection following their first date. He proposed in December 2023.
Maria Shriver, Patrick’s mother, celebrated the wedding on social media last month. Shriver shares Patrick, Katherine, Christina, and Christopher with her ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
She posted on Instagram, "One minute you’re fixing his bow tie, the next he’s getting married. That’s how quickly time flies as a parent."
Shriver continued, "I’m so proud of them, of their love, of their commitment to each other. They are the best of friends and are surrounded by great friends, a loving family who supports them and God."
Shriver confirmed she "cried" at the wedding, but also noted she was "overflowing with joy." She concluded her message by wishing the newlyweds a life of "understanding, love and constant compassion."
