Newell’s put together their best play at minute 21 when Ferreira and Pittón played on the left, whose cross was finished off by Recalde, on the right, but the ball went near the far post.

The best arrival of the match was 40 seconds into the plugin when Sánchez touched from the right end towards the area for Alan Rodríguez, who set up Leonardo Heredia, but Méndez covered his right foot, the ball fell again to the striker, who headed to the far post and this time Hoyos saved his goal in the save of the night.
