Eddie Howe is back at the helm of Newcastle United after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia.
He was admitted to the hospital on the 11th and has now returned to work following a recovery period.
Missed Matches and Interim Leadership
During his absence, Howe missed three crucial matches – against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa.
Under the guidance of assistant coach Jason Tindall, Newcastle secured wins against Manchester United and Crystal Palace at home but suffered a loss at Aston Villa on the last matchday.
Return to Action
Howe is expected to be back on the touchline for Saturday’s match against Ipswich at St. James’ Park, which kicks off at 3 pm.
Newcastle currently sits in fifth place, the final Champions League qualification spot, with five matches remaining.
