Kia already allows to configure the new generation of its successful and popular compact SUV and that is why the commercial journey of the new KIA Sportage 2022 is underway in Spain. At the time the order book was opened, the access trim was exclusively available with diesel engines.
The version Concept new Sportage already allows you to opt for a gasoline engine. A very interesting conventional block with manual transmission that offers a good relationship between performance and efficiency. In addition, the possibility of carrying out this configuration allows to reduce the sale price of the new petrol sportage.
The new Kia Sportage 2022 comes with truly enviable features
At the moment the Sportage range is made up of the Concept, Drive, Tech and GT-Line trim levels. When occupying the position of access to the offer, one would expect a poor endowment. However, the equipment that the Concept termination has is more than acceptable for daily life.
In addition, it is the most outstanding standard equipment that the new Sportage Concept brings with it. It includes headlights and daytime running lights with LED technology, emergency braking assistance system with pedestrian recognition and an 8-inch touch screen audio system, among other important features.
The prices of this new version range from 29,875 to 34,275 euros
Under the hood is a 150 hp 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine. A four-cylinder block that is associated with a six-speed manual gearbox. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 189 km/h.
It is important to note that this mechanic is available for other trim levels but with a difference. And it is that it is electrified with light hybrid technology of 48 volts. Therefore, the new Sportage Concept with a 150 hp petrol engine does not bear the DGT’s ECO environmental label.
