The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has launched Eurovisionsport, a new streaming portal for sports fans. This allows you to watch live sports broadcasts from all over the world for free. Certainly worth a look for sports fans who have more than just football on their minds. That is the good news.
The bad news: You won’t find any of the particularly popular team sports such as soccer, ice hockey, American football or basketball on this streaming portal. You won’t find tennis or Formula 1 there either. Rather, the new streaming portal broadcasts sports that have a niche character for us. So water sports, athletics, gymnastics, biathlon, the ski-flying world championships or competitions between electric racing boats. The makers promise that world and European championships will also be broadcast and that gender will be taken into account equally. Here at the bottom you will find a list of upcoming broadcasts.

This is how you watch the free sport
You can watch the Eurovisionsport content in your browser or in the apps for iOS and Android. Apps for smart TVs and streaming devices are to follow. The only requirement: you have to register for free with an email address. The only user language available for the interface is English.
You can view all content for free and without geo-blocking as long as you are in one of the EBU member countries. The content is available live and also on demand after it ends.
