New BCCI president will have ‘special focus’ on this, Roger Binny reveals his plan

Roger Binny, a member of the 1983 ODI World Cup champion team, was elected unopposed at the BCCI’s annual general meeting. At the same time, Jay Shah will continue as secretary of BCCI. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has been elected for the second term. However, after becoming president of BCCI, Roger Binny has made a big statement about Jasprit Bumrah.

Roger Binny said that players like Jasprit Bumrah get injured all the time, he will work to prevent these players from getting injured. He said that Jasprit Bumrah got injured just before the T20 World Cup 2022. Following Jasprit Bumrah’s injury, the Indian team had to rework their strategy. The former Indian cricketer said that I will mainly focus on two things. First, in protecting players from injuries and second, in Indian throws.

Roger Binny said that he will work exclusively on Indian releases. He said that the Indian launches will be done in such a way that if the Indian team goes on tour in countries like Australia, there will be no problem in adapting according to the conditions and terrain. It should be noted that currently the Indian team is in Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022. The Indian team will start their campaign on October 23 with a match against Pakistan.
