Continuing to bet on the fusion between the virtual and the real world, Facebook Messenger now offers more than 70 group effects that allow all users of a video call or chat to enjoy, at the same time, an Augmented Reality experience.

At launch alone, the new functionality already has more than 70 effects, but the company has already anticipated that it will develop many more, starting later this month. For now, among the many options available, users can build a virtual hamburger or let a virtual cat make the call.

At the same time, the social network also unveiled that previously announced features are now coming to Facebook. In August, the company announced that some words could start triggering a specific animation in chat conversations. For example, the happy birthday message would trigger a party emoji on the recipient’s screen. This will be one of the functions available now.

Also, the Soundmojis feature has surprises for users. Now you have new copies dedicated to the new James Bond movie (007- No Time to Die) and themes dedicated to Halloween, in the chat rooms of the platform.
