Network of entrepreneurs requests the construction of a place for entrepreneurs in San Pedro

The first charity advertising network in WhatsApp states between small and new entrepreneurs (RedEmprende) requested that the authorities build the Plaza del Emprendedor Petromacorisano to help that sector that needs it so much.

“Thousands of our enterprising brothers have searched the bazaars for a way to generate sales, but have failed due to the high costs of renting and moving merchandise. Bazaar after bazaar they only waste time and money,” he said. Richard Quinonezffounder of the union that brings together 180 entrepreneurs from all over the country, the majority from San Pedro de Macorís.

He added that during the last two years he has interacted with thousands of entrepreneurs through the solidarity advertising network that he created in November 2020. “During and after the Covid-19 pandemic, most Dominicans began to sell something through WhatsApp and social networks. For this reason, Plazas de Emprendedores must be built throughout the country, to provide a rotating physical space for those thousands of people who do not have the resources to pay for a commercial premises,” Quiñonez said.

noted that “We will set up a signature book so that entrepreneurs and the general population can express their support for this charitable work that, in all the provinces, with the support of local and national authorities, can be built with the faith and political willpower of our representatives in the three branches of the Dominican State”.

Quiñonez spoke during the celebration of the second anniversary of RedEmprende which has been recognized as a finalist for the 2022 National Youth Award in the Business Development and Entrepreneurship category. In addition, in San Pedro de Macorís it was recognized as a transcendent project.
