On Thursday, the first poster for his upcoming film, ‘Inspector Zende,’ was released. This new movie will feature Manoj Bajpayee alongside Jim Sarbh in important roles.
A Blast from the Past Crime Caper
Sources say the film’s story might be set in Mumbai during the 1970s and 80s. The poster itself gives a big hint about the plot. Under the film’s title, it asks, “Will Inspector catch the Swimsuit Killer?” This suggests the movie is all about catching a notorious criminal.
The buzz is that this “Swimsuit Killer” escaped from Tihar Jail. Inspector Zende, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is the dedicated police officer determined to bring him to justice. It sounds like a classic cat-and-mouse game, set against a vintage backdrop.

Netflix Announces the Chase
Netflix officially unveiled the poster with an Instagram post on Thursday. They wrote, “The game of cops and robbers will now begin. Inspector Zende is coming on duty.” The post confirmed that Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh are starring. They also shared the release date. The film’s poster is designed to look like a newspaper. It features pictures of both Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh.
The much-awaited ‘Inspector Zende’ will premiere on September 5. Make sure to mark your calendars because this one is coming straight to OTT.
