In fairness to its reputation as an innovative company, the American company has been working for several months on a game add-on to its regular content catalog. Now the games section has reportedly already arrived in Poland with the first games.
Netflix’s games section debuted in Europe with 2 games
Netflix has defined Internet access, and a compatible device, as the only requirements to enjoy new content. In fact, just by having a connection to the Internet, we will have some titles inspired by their productions in the Games section of Netflix.
We remember, by the way, that last month the company announced that it will launch Netflix Gaming with games for smartphones and mobile devices. However, it plans to gradually expand to AAA games in the near future.
Today Friday (27) the service of transmission Netflix’s gaming section debuted in Europe. He did it, more specifically, in Poland and with just two games. That said, it won’t be a relevant content type for most users at the moment.
Android only and with 2 games: Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3
The pilot project now receives the green light in this European nation, although it is limited to two titles and the Android platform. That is, we have the games Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3 that already appear in the platform’s catalog in Poland.
The new games will be visible in the new dedicated section, as we can see in the images and the post shared by the Polish branch of the service. transmission. However, for now at least, the games will need to be installed on mobile devices.
In the future, the platform may adopt a similar model to Google Stadia, allowing the game to stream. For that, they need a solid support infrastructure, something that doesn’t seem to exist at the moment.

Once you click on the games Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3, the Google Play Store opens. From there the user can install, but note that the games will not appear in the list of installed applications. They will be in the Netflix app.

In short, the user can play normally paid games (cousin) as long as you have an active Netflix account. It should also be noted that the company itself is aware of the rudimentary nature of this provisional implementation. In fact, the platform promises something “bigger” that is coming very soon.
