The air around Mumbai is buzzing with excitement as Diwali, the festival of lights, draws near. For actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family, this year’s celebrations will shine even brighter. Neil, known for his roles on the big screen, recently bought a stunning new apartment in the city. He made this big purchase alongside his father, the legendary singer Nitin Mukesh Mathur. It’s truly a special family moment.
Their new pad is quite the catch. It sits in Mumbai’s upscale Lower Parel neighborhood, a prime spot in the bustling “City of Dreams.” This luxurious apartment comes with a reported price tag of 11.35 crore rupees, a significant investment in one of India’s most expensive cities.
Paperwork confirms the details of this grand acquisition. According to property registration documents, the 2,044 square-foot apartment is located on the 31st floor of the building. It even includes two dedicated parking spaces for their vehicles. The transaction officially registered on July 10, 2025, as reported by Hindustan Times. They paid a stamp duty of 68.10 lakh rupees and an additional 30,000 rupees for registration fees. Interestingly, actress Amrita Puri also snapped up an apartment in the same building this past April.
Neil Nitin Mukesh has built a solid career in Hindi cinema. He’s graced the screen in popular films like “Johnny Gaddaar,” “New York,” “Saat Khoon Maaf,” “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,” and “Golmaal Again.” Beyond Bollywood, he’s also made a mark in South Indian films. His performance in “Kaththi” even earned him the Best Actor (Negative Role) award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA).
Recently, Neil was seen opposite Divya Khosla in the film “Ek Chaur Naar.” This Umesh Shukla-directed movie hit theaters on September 12 this year. It received a mixed response from critics and didn’t perform particularly well at the box office. But let’s not forget the melodious legacy of his father, Nitin Mukesh. He is counted among Bollywood’s most beloved playback singers, famous for timeless tunes such as “Haste Haste Kat Jaye Raste,” “My Name Is Lakhan,” “So Gaya Yeh Jahan,” and “Zindagi Har Kadam.” This new home is certainly a testament to the family’s enduring success and a bright new chapter for them.
