In the Heat’s visit, in which Willy Hernangómez did see a clue as a substitute for Jonas Valanciunas, McCollum’s contribution (21 points) did not help. There was no option throughout the evening for Willie Green’s men to surpass the one in front. In the Florida team, Adebayo, with 26 points, or Butler, with 18 points, were right to straighten out in the Eastern Conference after a bad start this season.
ROCKETS 117 – HORNETS 122
Green (41) was fantastic, but not so the rest of the Rockets. In a duel at the bottom of the table between two teams with opposing differences they were left without winning once again. They have only won ten games. Garuba played nine minutes and was left without scoring. Rozier (26) was the leading scorer for Charlotte.
THUNDER 126 – PACERS 106
Gilgeous-Alexander (23) led again for the Thunder. But without disdaining Lu Dort’s 22 points or Isaiah Joe’s 7/12 in triples. That 42-29 of the third quarter was worth gold for OKC, which with this victory is close to 50% of victories in the campaign.
JAZZ 126 – CLIPPERS 103
Markkanen (34) hit hard for one more day, with triples, dunks and success in various areas. The Clippers did not win a quarter and they did not give the feeling, without Leonard or George, of being able to go one step further. Not even with Powell’s seven triples (30). Fourth victory in five games already for those from Salt Lake City.
