NBA player arrested for domestic violence

Bryn Forbes, an NBA free agent recently released by the Minnesota Timberwolves, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. In accordance with Associated Press, the shooting guard was arrested at La Cantera Resort & Spa at 5:15 am local time on Wednesday, February 15. Forbes is being held in the Bexar County Jail.

According to the police report, the basketball player had an argument with the woman he was dating and hit her repeatedly when he got home. The first responders were the San Antonio Fire Department and a team of paramedics.

Based on information from AP, the shooting guard does not have a legal representative who can vouch for him and the case remains under police investigation. So far, the charge facing the basketball player is assault and bodily injury to someone married or cohabiting with a person
